The development of vitamin D is based on many years of research. In the course of this, it was discovered in 1919 for the first time that artificial UV light could correct the disturbed mineralization of bones.
RECOVERING VITAMIN D
In addition to absorbing it through sunlight, a vitamin D deficiency can be remedied by integrating foods into the diet that contain enough of the vitamin. These include, among other things:
egg yolk
liver
yogurt
avocados
veal
mushrooms
different types of cheese (gorgonzola)
fatty fish such as herring, salmon or mackerel
